The Finest Adolescent Residential Treatment

Northwest Behavioral Healthcare Services provides help to families and residential treatment for adolescents (ages 12 to 17) with emotional, behavioral, or substance abuse problems. The staff of Northwest has shown itself to be successful with those more “difficult to treat” — especially those with a dual diagnosis who require a secure setting for their care.

The goal of Northwest’s adolescent treatment program is simple — to make kids well so that they can have a meaningful and satisfying life — to achieve their own unique level of greatness. That takes patience, compassion, discipline, and understanding. Along with competent professionals, it also takes a diligent parent. Working together, there is hope.

We are grateful for the large number of young persons entrusted to our care over the years, but we are most grateful for the opportunities afforded us to make lasting differences in their lives. We combine keen insight, kind guidance, and caring consistency with a positive peer group under the watchful eye of dedicated, competent professionals and counselors. The young person is led down a path of self-discovery and introspection that will enable them to understand and deal effectively with problems. New habits and attitudes that grow out of healthier choices builds self esteem and confidence. This common-sense system has resulted in solid outcomes, unmatched in the adolescent treatment industry.

Northwest enjoys an outstanding success rate in most every major category used to judge the effectiveness of an adolescent treatment program. Young people are usually referred to Northwest through professional sources (managed care organizations, social service agencies, behavioral health professionals, counselors, independent educational consultants) but direct inquiries from parents are welcomed.
